Start Here
You don’t have to have all the answers today.
You just have to take the next step.
Whether you’re questioning your relationship, preparing to leave, healing after abuse, or rebuilding your life, you’re welcome here.
You Are Not Crazy. You Are Not Too Sensitive. And You Are Not Alone.
If you found your way here, you may be trying to understand something that has left you confused, hurt or questioning yourself.
Maybe you are still living in it. Maybe you are thinking about leaving. Maybe you have already left but cannot understand why you still feel afraid, lost or connected to the person who hurt you.
Wherever you are, you are welcome here.
I created Never Be Perfect because I spent years believing that if I loved harder, forgave faster, stayed calmer or became easier to live with, everything would finally be okay.
But the problem was never that I wasn’t good enough.
I was being manipulated, controlled and abused—and I had been taught to doubt what I knew was happening.
This is a place for women who are surviving abuse, betrayal, coercive control and the long road of rebuilding afterward. It is a place to name what happened, find practical support and begin trusting yourself again.
You do not have to understand everything today. You only have to begin where you are.
Where Are You Right Now?
Survive
You are trying to make it through today. You may feel frightened, overwhelmed, numb or unsure of what to do next.
Start here when you need grounding, encouragement and help taking the next safe step.
Leave
You are thinking about leaving, trying to leave or dealing with the confusing and painful days immediately afterward.
Start here when you need honesty about leaving, separation, grief and the pull to go back.
Prepare
You need to think carefully about safety, finances, documents, housing, technology, children or the practical realities of beginning again.
Start here when you need information that can help you quietly and safely prepare.
See
You are beginning to recognize the manipulation, gaslighting, betrayal or coercive control for what it was.
Start here when you need help naming what happened and learning to trust your own reality again.
Rebuild
You have survived, but now you are wondering who you are and how to create a life that belongs to you.
Start here when you are rebuilding your confidence, identity, stability, faith and voice.
Thrive
You are ready to live beyond survival. You want peace, purpose, healthy relationships and a future that is not defined by what someone else did to you.
Start here when you are ready to discover what comes next.
Healing Is Not a Straight Line
These are not steps you must complete perfectly or in order.
You may feel strong one day and completely undone the next. You may be rebuilding your life while still trying to understand what happened. You may return to a section you thought you had already moved beyond.
That does not mean you are failing.
Healing is not about doing everything perfectly. It is about slowly reclaiming the parts of yourself you were taught to silence, question or give away.
Start with the section that feels closest to where you are today.
If You Need Help Now

You do not have to make every decision today. Sometimes the first step is simply realizing that you are not alone—and that what happened to you matters.
